Downtown Chicago!

On Tuesday August 2nd we left for Arizona. Our flight left at night so we decided to spend the day in downtown Chicago and meet up with Mommy's friend Bill.

Lance was not too happy in Chicago this day. It was very very hot and humid.

We took a boat taxi back to Navy Pier from downtown.

Uncle Bradley was nice enough to take us to Portillo's before our flight. Mommy loved her Italian Beef.

Last Night/Day in Chicago

Before we headed out of town we were able to see Auntie Lindsay and her new house. Lance loved her house and especially loved all the dogs and cat!

The morning before we headed back to Arizona, we went to see Great Grandma Sharon. Lance and Mommy loved all the collectibles.

Grandma Sharon's Sister

After Knott's Berry Farm we were able to stop at Great Grandma Sharon's sister Charlene's house. We were able to visit with Jen and Kayla, too!

They had a Hot Wheels BMW that Lance loved driving around! If he wants a real one some day I know who to blame!

Knott's Farm

On Monday August 2nd, we went to Knott's Farm. The farm is a working farm and is staffed with developmentally disabled workers. It is a really nice place and great day. We were fortunate to go to the farm with Great Grandma and Grandpa Franks, Great Grandma Sharon, and also Mommy's friend Lauren and her two kids, Quinn and Brayden.

Lake Geneva

Daddy's favorite place in the Midwest is Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We were able to go to the beach and enjoy the water on another hot Midwest summer day.

Lance loved to play int he sand. We got him so toys on the way.
